I am a New York City-based writer and editor, focusing on design and architecture, and everything in between. I was formally the executive editor at Modern Magazine, a quarterly publication covering 20th and 21st century buildings and interiors, furniture and objects. An interest in all things design and the built environment led me to positions such as managing editor at The Architect’s Newspaper and associate editor at GreenSource, the sister publication to Architectural Record. My writing has appeared in The New York Times, Metropolis, ADPro, Remodelista, Refinery29, and DAMnation, among other publications.
I received my B.A. in American Civilization at Brown University, and a masters from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, where I focused on long-form and literary journalism.
